Refund Policy
This policy explains refunds and cancellation for the paid plans of Tawthiq, the privacy compliance platform available at https://tawthiq.tech.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
14-day refund
- You can ask for a full refund of any subscription payment within 14 days of the date it was charged. This covers the first payment and each renewal.
- You do not need to give a reason.
- When a payment is refunded, the paid plan it covers ends and the account moves to the free plan.
How to ask for a refund
- Use the link in your Paddle receipt, or go to https://paddle.net and look up the order with the email you paid with.
- You can also write to us at contact@tawthiq.tech from the account email, and we pass the request to Paddle.
- Paddle returns the money to the payment method you paid with. How long it takes to show depends on your bank or card provider.
Cancellation
- You can cancel a subscription at any time from the account page.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal. The paid plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account moves to the free plan.
- If the account has more sites than the free plan allows, you choose the sites that stay when you cancel. The others are disabled as described in our Terms of Service.
- A cancellation made more than 14 days after a payment does not refund the rest of that period.
Free plan
- The free plan takes no payment, so there is nothing to refund.
Billing errors
- A duplicate charge or a charge made in error is refunded in full, whenever it is reported.
Enterprise plans
- A signed enterprise agreement can set its own billing and refund terms. Where it does, those terms apply.
Your legal rights
- This policy adds to the rights you have under the law that applies to you. It does not limit them.
Updates to this policy
- We may update this policy. The new version applies to payments made after it is published.
